Job Description
Senior Governance Manager, Company Secretary & Legal - Top ASX, Financial Services Opportunity to join a Top ASX Listed, Financial Services organisation with a strong governance culture, best practices, systems and governance. This newly created Governance role will report into the Group Company Secretary and Head of Governance within an established team. Key Responsibilities: Lead regulatory change initiatives ensuring compliance with new legislation Ensure the Governance and Risk Management framework complies with ASIC, APRA, and ASX regulatory requirements Advise and monitor the board Charters, Delegations & Authorities policy as well as Ethics & Conduct policy Board and Committee regulatory reporting and participation in ongoing training and initiatives to ensure best class practices and a strong governance culture Essential Requirements: Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance Tertiary qualifications in law or other business related disciplines 5+ years ASX listed company secretary and corporate governance experience Experience within the Financial Services Industry Demonstrated experience with corporate governance issues (legislation, policy and implementation) Strong time management and prioritisation skills Ability to work autonomously and use initiative to drive outcomes Please send your resume in confidence to Aislyn Jennings, Executive Search Partner, (emailprotected) or call 0432000919 for a confidential chat.
