Start a new journey with us! • Temporary Full-time opportunity for up to 6 months The Senior Health Intelligence Analyst is responsible for contributing to the evolving health intelligence requirements of the organisation by leading and contributing to major analytics and modelling projects that will support evidence-based decision making, driving positive outcomes supporting operational performance and patient care. You will use specialist data science analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning modelling skills, as well as statistical and analytical methods plus AI tools to automate specific processes within the organisation and develop smart solutions to address the needs and challenges. In this role you will provide strategic leadership and direction in the continuous improvement of health intelligence across West Moreton Health (WMH) by leading the Health Intelligence function through a collaborative model. This will include identifying improvement opportunities through advanced analysis techniques. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Extensive experience in applying analytical solutions to business challenges by using data science techniques (such as operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, forecasting, data analysis, modelling and simulation, scripting and programming languages and tools) to solve business problems. Experience in building health intelligence products including advanced data analytics, visualisation, data modelling such as prescribed and predictive analytics and enterprise decision support products, and facilitating the understanding of data by displaying concepts, ideas, and facts using innovative representations. Experience with data management practices and principles within a complex business environment, particularly related to ETL/ELT, SQL, Power BI, Python, R, Databricks and cloud technologies such as the Azure and/or AWS suite of products. Experienced project management ability with proven ability to work autonomously, as well as effectively in a team environment contributing to the ongoing management of complex time-critical projects, to deliver on specified milestones. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and effective inter-personal skills with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
