Location: Sydney, NSWSalary: Up to $150,000 + SuperHAYLO People is a specialist recruitment agency in Work, Health & Safety (WHS) and has partnered with a leading company in the entertainment industry to find a Senior Manager, Health & Safety. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead WHS in a dynamic, high-risk environment, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and guests.Why Join? The Role: As Senior Manager, Health & Safety, you will report to the General Manager, Operations & Safety and work closely with operational business leaders, safety teams, compliance teams, regulators, and external consultants. Key Responsibilities: Lead the WHS function and drive compliance with legislation and industry standards. Oversee risk management, audits, and safety performance across the business. Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate Return to Work (RTW) plans. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and emergency response plans. Provide expert safety advice to leadership, ensuring a proactive safety culture. Facilitate safety training and development for employees and contractors. Act as Secretary for the Emergency Planning Committee, overseeing drills and responses. Maintain the WHS Management System and risk register. Your Experience: Diploma or Cert IV in WHS (Work Health & Safety). Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and best practices (NSW). Experience in workers’ compensation, RTW planning, and injury management. Proven ability to lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Stakeholder engagement skills, liaising with regulators, insurers, and emergency services. Experience delivering safety training and developing a safety-first culture. Nice to Have: Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety compliance. Additional certifications (e.g., First Aid Trainer, Fire Warden, Working at Heights Supervisor). #J-18808-Ljbffr
