Join to apply for the Senior Human Resource Advisor role at Department of Transport and Main Roads As a Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, fast-paced team of passionate HR professionals, working collaboratively with diverse clients and business areas across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Principal Advisor, you will lead and support several projects, ensuring the successful delivery of key initiatives including the delivery of the workplace adjustments review. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly adapt to changing circumstances while providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of our initiatives. Key Responsibilities Include Strategically identifying challenges and opportunities to develop and implement portfolios focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, and workforce engagement. Leading, coordinating, and preparing high-quality reports, correspondence, speech notes, presentations, and internal communications, drawing on complex data sets for analysis. Delivering the review of the departments workplace adjustment procedure. Building strong stakeholder partnerships both inter- and cross-agency, enhance relationships, and engage effectively with internal and external key stakeholders. Leading and coordinating key initiatives to enhance workforce engagement and foster respectful relationships across the organisation. Demonstrating a strong understanding of contemporary organisational development strategies and driving continuous improvement, including framework, policy, process design and development. Ability to communicate in a clear, succinct, and deliberate manner. Desirable: Experience in leading inclusion, diversity, and equity initiatives, employee engagement, and/or behavioural change initiatives in a large, complex environment. Desirable: Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources Management, or related disciplines such as Business, Psychology, or Change Management.
