With a number of vertical businesses across wholesale and retail pharmaceutical, this business is continuing to acquire and experience growth with operations across the APAC region.The Role Reporting to the IT Vendor Manager, this role will support the management of key technology vendors, including the ongoing governance, building and managing great vendor relationships, and proactively identifying opportunities for realizing greater value or savings through the vendor relationships.The role will also collaborate with and build relationships with internal stakeholders / IT Managers across the group to gather requirements and provide support across the vendor management space.This is a new role within the vendor management team with a lot of scope for growth and exciting initiatives to work across including analyzing spends and contractual agreements and working with the vendor manager across renewals or go-to-market initiatives. Their focus for the year ahead is streamlining the function, consolidation of suppliers, ensuring maximum value and innovation.What You Bring To The Role 5-10 years experience in IT vendor management / IT Contract Management / IT Procurement management managing multi-million dollar contracts with multiple IT suppliers. Solid knowledge of IT and technology operations within an enterprise environment is a must-have requirement. Ability to develop, implement and lead the sourcing plans for IT contracts, establish third party service agreements, and manage commercial and legal aspects of the contracts with 3rd party vendors. Solid knowledge of current trends/movements in vendor management and in the technology market within Australia. Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives through effective collaboration and management of vendor contract deliverables and contractual agreement obligations. Strong experience in contract review, renewal, re-negotiation or going back to market to ensure maximum value from suppliers and ensure ongoing cost cutting and management. Strong experience in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel required. Relevant tertiary qualification required. What's In It For You? A vibrant, fast-paced environment with loads of growth opportunities!
