About the position In this role you will work collaboratively with the disciplines of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Sciences and Indigenous Health, embedding elements of Indigenous health, cultural safety and cultural responsiveness. You will also support programs within Indigenous Health and engage across the University with other Faculties and Schools to promote Indigenous Health. About you To be successful you must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage with a developing academic record. You should hold or be working towards a PhD, with demonstrated experience or knowledge in an area of Allied Health. Qualifications in exercise physiology or dietetics are preferred with other allied health qualifications considered. A demonstrated commitment to the personal, professional and academic development of Indigenous students is essential, along with a strong understanding of Indigenous health issues in an Australian context and an ability to build connections with the Indigenous community. Additionally, a passion for advocating for and supporting student learning, along with a collaborative approach, strong interpersonal, written and communication skills are required.
