Job Description
Our client, a highly regarded credit specialist and funds manager, is experiencing exciting growth and seeking a skilled financial services lawyer to support their Asset Management division's product expansion strategy. As a key member of a collaborative legal team reporting to the Melbourne-based General Counsel, you'll provide commercial legal expertise on the launch of new products over the next 12 months and beyond. You will provide commercially relevant advice across lending, funding (including securitisations), marketing, contract disputes and regulatory matters. This role is ideal for a mid to senior-level lawyer with funds management, banking & finance, or corporate experience. Securitisation experience is a plus, and a first move in-house from a reputable/top-tier law firm is also welcomed. If you are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and a strategic, business-facing approach, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact, with genuine career development opportunities.
