Save job Our client is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as an active partner with assigned Business Groups, assisting them in documenting and monitoring the achievement of their financial objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and efficient commercial analysis to internal customers. What you'll do: As a Senior Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the financial objectives of the business. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the preparation of detailed budgets for various business units. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you provide monthly financial reports and undertake analysis for agreed initiatives. Your ability to develop models that deliver customer requirements will be crucial in providing greater transparency of business group operations. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement activities within Business Services, regularly evaluating and standardising finance processes. Coordinate and facilitate the preparation of business units’ detailed budgets. Provide monthly financial and FTE performance reports to business units. Undertake analysis for agreed initiatives to improve performance. Develop models that deliver customer requirements and provide greater transparency of business groups operations. Participate in the development of continuous improvement activities within Business Services. Regularly evaluate, standardise and document all Finance processes/services to identify possible areas for improvement. What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Senior Management Accountant position brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in economics, management or accounting. Your superior communication skills will enable you to effectively present complex financial information to various stakeholders. Your strong relationship management skills will be key in maintaining strong working relationships with senior managers, managers and employees across the business. Your ability to work independently coupled with your strong analytical skills will ensure your success in this role. An extensive understanding of complex financial modelling would be highly desirable.
