The Opportunity: This role offers the opportunity to grow the business and further develop relationships with a wide range of school communities.Purpose of this Role: Leading a team of Regional Managers and Service Directors, the General Manager is accountable for the portfolio of service delivery and is supported by key specialist teams. They are an operations and commercial leader, comfortable in a highly regulated environment and have a track record of driving effective results in a distributed site environment. They contribute tothe growth of their State through supporting the success of new wins, retaining existing services and growing demand through quality of product, community engagement and embedding strong school partnership.Key Responsibilities: Delivering on product strategy (state focused) and ensuring alignment to the companies vision, mission, values andstrategic priorities. Setting the strategic vision for the State business that considers the sector (competition), stakeholders, any gap in themarket and innovative opportunities. Driving cultural and behavioural change in how we operate and lead our field teams to be high performing. Managing expectations and performance that results in quality driven, compliant, and safe services whilst delivering an engaging program of activities, which delights our customers and consumers Delivering on financial goals of their territory and having full P&L ownership. Providing insight of the internal and external environment that affects the company and to identify quality improvement opportunities. About You: An experienced General Manager, or roles of a similar capacity Highly resistant and able to Experience in scaling small/medium businesses successfully Sound experience or knowledge around the OSHC or Early Childhood sectors Someone willing to put the children and staff at the forefront of decision making Understanding of the legislative requirements around OSHC or Early Childhood sectors Values driven leader with an open-door policy Someone with a long-term strategic mindset who understands the importance of clearly defined short-term goals to achieve desired outcomes Technologically minded, with innovative ideas to streamline operations A lateral thinker Technologically minded, with innovative ideas to streamline operations Experience and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business/Education Five or more years’ experience in a senior operations role, preferably within the education or other comparible industry Must have experience as a General Manager, State Manager or Operational manager role.
