SYNOPSIS: Senior Asset Management Officer Up to $116,036.33 p.a. total salary package ($89,406.92- $104,068.46 + 11.5% super)* Permanent full time dependent on skills and experience The City of Melville sits upon the shore of the beautiful Swan and Canning Rivers. About the Role Join our team to play a key role in maintaining the City’s asset management system, ensuring infrastructure assets are managed in a cost-effective and sustainable manner. You’ll support the delivery of services that meet the needs of current and future generations while implementing best practices for asset management. Main Responsibilities Oversee and manage asset data registers for infrastructure assets including roads, stormwater, paths, parks, buildings, and lighting. Develop and maintain asset management plans and continually improve processes for asset management. Lead complex asset audit projects and coordinate data collection. Ensure data integrity in the asset management system and collaborate with asset custodians. Develop 5-year capital works programs in consultation with asset custodians. Assist in implementing asset management business rules and strategies. Support the compilation of infrastructure valuations and provide technical advice on asset management best practices. About You You’re suitably qualified and have demonstrated extensive experience in asset management and the use of asset management systems. You’re skilled in data analysis, problem solving and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. You possess excellent time management skills and thrive in a busy working environment. Essential requirements Tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Engineering or equivalent or recognised prior learning, appropriate in-house training or relevant work experience. Current C class Driver’s Licence. Knowledge and understanding of International Standard, ISO 55001, Requirements for Asset Management. Experience in the use of computerised Asset / Facilities Management Systems. Experience in the application of Microsoft suite of products.
