A suitable arrangement will be negotiated with the preferred candidate. About This Opportunity The National Imaging Facility (NIF) is seeking a proactive Senior Manager, Advanced Human Imaging to drive strategic initiatives, enhance access to cutting-edge imaging technologies, and foster collaboration across our consortium, user communities and other stakeholders. In this role, you’ll connect researchers with world-class imaging capabilities, manage impactful national projects, and translate complex research needs into actionable solutions. Your expertise will shape the future of Advanced Human Imaging in Australia, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement and contributing to groundbreaking scientific advancements. Key responsibilities will include: Enhance access to NIF’s Advanced Human Imaging capabilities by connecting researchers, industry, and stakeholders with cutting-edge imaging technologies. Facilitate large-scale imaging initiatives, ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder engagement, and measurable research impact. Promote NIF’s imaging capabilities through stakeholder engagement, strategic marketing, and national workshops. Coordinate training programs and resources to strengthen expertise in advanced imaging across Australia. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships across research, industry, and government sectors. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. High-level organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Experience developing and delivering training programs or educational resources in a scientific or technical field. Knowledge of human imaging technologies such as MRI, PET, or CT, and their applications in research is highly desirable.
