THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is a leading Global Logistics organisation currently expanding its successful presence in the Asia Pacific region. THE ROLE Reporting to the Territory Director (Logistics) this role is responsible for the core industry sectors of: automotive rail health defence aerospace technology industrials e-commerce and consumer. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador in the marketplace by developing long term strategic relationships up to the most senior levels in support of growth. ABOUT YOU Our ideal candidate will bring to the table: A minimum 3 years' experience in the logistics/supply chain sector Proven sales, business development and account management experience Strong commercial acumen with good understanding of pricing/margins Proven experience in the negotiation and management of contracts A history of tenacity in "hunting" for new business and relationships Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general PC skills with the ability to quickly pick up new systems A fundamental understanding of the benefits available of process and operational re-engineering. Although professional skills are important, of equal significance is your personal profile.
