The role is responsible for working with Conduct Risk stakeholders across the lines of defence to achieve targeted outcomes for the management of conduct risk within risk appetite, through the execution of operational activities and strategic initiatives to effectively implement the Group’s Compliance & Conduct Risk Management Framework. You will design, execute and embed conduct risk strategy across the Group and support the delivery of initiatives to mature the capability of conduct risk management in alignment with the Compliance & Conduct Risk Management Framework and Three Lines of Defence operating model. Some of the key accountabilities are: Support the implementation of the Compliance & Conduct Risk Management Framework. Work as part of the Group Conduct Risk team to drive the implementation of the Compliance & Conduct Risk Management Framework, providing guidance and advice to Conduct Risk stakeholders. Build relationships with key stakeholders at a Group and Divisional level to support consistent application of conduct risk management. This may include, but is not limited to, participation and attendance at working groups and/or communities of practice to drive conduct risk strategy across the Group. Be part of driving the step change in conduct risk management, enabling the conduct agenda through strategy, framework, policies and processes. Support the Head of Conduct Risk to build strong relationships with Conduct Risk stakeholders including Enterprise Compliance, Divisional Risk and Compliance teams, Business Controls & Monitoring, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Culture, Group Learning, the Product Chapter and Operational Risk, to execute on operational and strategic initiatives. Build/sustain effective relationships relating to specific conduct risk matters, such as those required to inform and conduct regulatory engagements including with ASIC and APRA. What do I need? 5+ years’ experience in a large corporation Prior experience in a Risk or Compliance team Prior experience as a behavioural risk management subject matter expert within a large institution Experience with the sourcing and analysis of data to gain insights Experience and understanding of financial services across retail, commercial and/or institutional banking Demonstrated experience in managing internal/external stakeholder relationships and able to influence targeted outcomes Knowledge of legal and regulatory environments relevant to financial services Experience working within strategic projects/programs of work and providing subject matter expertise What’s it like to work there?
