About the role The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that Project teams successfully complete the projects requested. The Project Manager develops the Project Plan and schedule with the team and manages the team’s performance of project tasks. It is also the responsibility of the Project Manager to secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and relevant stakeholders. This role is also responsible for adhering to the Red Cross Project Management methodology and communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team, and, in general, making sure the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope. What you will bring Substantial experience in an IT project management capacity, including all aspects of project development and execution. Demonstrated ability to manage both technical and business stakeholders and resources. Ability to operate under limited direction from senior employees and work with and lead teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment. Substantial experience in Agile and Waterfall Project methodologies. Excellent understanding of Agile Scrum ceremonies, Backlog management, User Story writing, estimation and prioritisation practices. Previous experience in release management, user acceptance testing and deployment essential. High level proficiency in MS Office/ MS Visio, Jira/Confluence & MS Project. Previous Project Management experience in Marketing Automation and Customer Data related projects is highly desirable. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications, skills and / or experience in project management or related fields. Project Management certifications (PMBOK, PRINCE2 or similar standards) will be highly regarded. Agile Product Owner certification (PSPO1, etc.) & Agile Scrum Master certification (PSM1, CSM, etc.) are not required but highly desirable.
