You will lead a team of QA engineers, work closely with cross-functional teams, and develop strategies to ensure mobile apps meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers focused on mobile app automation testing. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Quality Engineering Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive QE strategies for mobile applications (iOS and Android). Deliver defined quality metrics and KPIs to measure and improve product quality. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in mobile app testing. Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the creation of detailed automation scripts, test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure thorough testing of mobile applications, including functional, regression, automation, performance, and usability testing. Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and address issues early in the development process. Automation and Tools: Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks for mobile app testing. Ensure the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline includes automated tests. Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and technologies as needed. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the development process. Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a quality perspective. Communicate quality-related issues and risks to senior management and other stakeholders. Reporting and Documentation: Generate and present regular reports on the quality status of mobile applications. Document and maintain QE processes, test cases, and testing environments. Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards as applicable. Qualifications: 12+ years of proven experience as a Quality Engineering Manager or similar role, with a focus on mobile applications. Strong understanding of mobile app development and testing processes. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Java + Appium). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (ADO). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of mobile app security testing. Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab).
