Salary : $80,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation per annum Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a Senior Leadership role that will drive the Agency’s business growth in Australia and the South Pacific region by planning, developing and organising both new and existing marketing and advertising pipelines. Your job duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Design and execute networking strategies aimed at generating new business leads by building relationships through industry events, client referrals, and strategic partnerships. Manage a dynamic pipeline of leads, ensuring each prospect is nurtured through consistent follow-ups, needs assessments, and personalised proposals. Develop and close retainer contracts by offering compelling value propositions and flexible terms that cater to clients' operational and budgetary requirements. Cultivate strong negotiation skills to maximise client retention and agency revenue. Collaborate with operations and creative teams to refine services by identifying improvements and aligning offerings with the agency’s vision through regular meetings and teamwork. Analyse market trends to spot new service opportunities by reviewing industry reports and competitor activities, ensuring the agency stays competitive and responsive to market demands. Implement new services based on client feedback, ensuring they meet client needs and standards, while involving key stakeholders for a smooth rollout. Develop content, PR, and digital strategies to enhance the agency’s presence by creating targeted campaigns that increase visibility across key channels and engage the audience effectively. Plan and execute events to improve brand recognition by organising and managing industry-relevant gatherings, ensuring they align with the agency's goals and attract potential clients. Conduct market research to position the agency effectively by gathering insights on competitors, audience preferences, and industry trends, using the data to adjust strategies and strengthen market standing. Ensure the agency’s branding is consistent across all platforms by standardising visuals and messaging in both internal and external communications to maintain a cohesive brand identity. Cultivate relationships with industry partners to boost brand visibility by networking with key players, fostering partnerships, and leveraging these connections for collaborative opportunities that enhance the agency’s profile. Requirements : ESSENTIAL: Degree in business-related discipline and/or 7+ years of industry experience. Desired: Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a business environment within the Pacific Region. Attributes and Competencies: Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Able to perform with minimum direction from others. Takes the initiative and asserts self. Attention to detail and accuracy. A relaxed and friendly manner. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Ability to identify opportunities and weaknesses and plan mitigation in advance. Possess a strong understanding of the cultural nuances of First Nations, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander communities, and provide expert guidance on ensuring content and context are culturally appropriate, respectful, and relevant. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to present. Organized, motivated and works well alone, as well as with a team.
