ROLE SUMMARY As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be in charge of ensuring all written medical content that passes through the Bastion doors is accurate, Quality Assurance compliant, and of the high quality our clients expect from us. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple channels, including print, digital, and workshops for several world-class brands. You will also work in a leadership capacity for our Medical Writers, knowing when to delegate, providing feedback on their progress to the Management team, and helping them develop. Part of your role will be client-facing, where you will be professional and confident in what you are presenting and discussing, in order to maintain and grow client relationships. This role is varied and challenging, with opportunities to develop your skills and strengths. Ideally, you can recite the MA code in your sleep, love juggling multiple projects, and stay cool under pressure. REQUIRED SKILL SETS Expertise in science and healthcare: Demonstrated by at least a BSc in a related discipline and a minimum of two years of industry experience. Medical writing experience: Demonstrated by at least two years of professional experience. Candidates with experience writing across multiple formats (digital, patient communications, sales materials, etc.) will be viewed favorably. Management experience: Proven experience in line management, including training, professional support, and recruitment.
