Working alongside another part-time senior men's health physiotherapist, you'll provide outpatient services to Prostate Cancer Patients, including prehab/rehab for prostatectomy, incontinence management, exercise prescription, and pelvic floor strengthening. Collaborate with prostate cancer nurses and other allied health in the team, as well as Urologists, Radiation Oncologists, and Oncologists. Participate in weekly Patient Care Meetings and provide clinical updates to GP/specialists. About you: We are seeking a skilled and energetic individual who possesses a passion for person-centred care for Prostate Cancer patients. Selection Criteria: Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia. Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration. Extensive clinical experience in providing Men's Health Physiotherapy services within an acute hospital setting or other relevant settings. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Men's Health Physiotherapy which may include demonstrated participation in relevant post-graduate study, research, quality improvement and understanding of quality assurance and evidence-based practice. Demonstrated ability to balance competing demands while maintaining responsibility for a clinical caseload. Demonstrated well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise, proactively and consistently, with management and stakeholders regarding all issues relevant to the responsibilities of the position. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to provide advice to service managers on men's health physiotherapy clinical service delivery and evidence-based clinical practice.
