Senior Physiotherapist - Metro South Health @ Home Queensland Health (Organisation site)Eight Mile Plains Community Health Centre and/or Riverlakes Village, Cornubia The Community Services Team, Community and Oral Health Services, Metro are looking for a Temporary Full-time Physiotherapist – Senior Community Services Team position to join their team. Community and Oral Health deliver a broad range of quality community-based care and support services to help people improve and maintain their wellbeing and independence as well as oral health services to adults and children. We are the major public healthcare provider for Brisbane's south side, Logan, Redlands and the Scenic Rim. We operate five major hospitals and a range of community, specialty and state-wide healthcare services. We are renowned for teaching and research excellence. About the Role Manage an allocated community-based workload to deliver Physiotherapy services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff. Actively participate in professional and multidisciplinary team meetings including clinical case conferences and Community Services Team departmental meetings. Demonstrate high level clinical and time management skills in screening and prioritising workload demands in a complex and high patient clinical environment. Provide education, direction and supervision for routine tasks to less experienced staff, students and foodservice and support staff, with the support of senior clinical staff. Where appropriate, act as primary supervisor for student training.
