Position Overview The position of Allied Health Practitioner Senior will: Deliver high level professional clinical mental health services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to optimise psycho-social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and their families and carers. The Clinical Nurse is responsible and accountable for the direct delivery of safe, quality and clinically effective nursing care at an advanced level in the specialised area of child and youth mental health. The Clinical Nurse will triage and screen referrals, conduct assessments and treatment of children and young people (and their carer networks) with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Consumer outcomes will be maximised by providing collaborative family-centred care whilst promoting safe and professional standards of nursing practice and conduct.
