By joining our high-performing team, you'll play a crucial role in providing leadership and direction to multiple mining supervisors and a crew of over 100 operators to achieve the mine plan. The role: Provide leadership & direction to a high performing mining team Mentor supervisors and up & coming step ups Ensure health, safety and environmental awareness Coordinate mining activities to optimise production Provide technical guidance in complex mining areas About you: NSW Open Cut Examiners Certificate of Competency & current practicing certificate Extensive experience in open cut coal environment Experience in a complex mining situation such as steep dipping seams and underground workings Proven leadership capabilities and ability to lead a diverse team Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across all departments Commitment to our people, the environment, our community, and continuous improvement What we offer: A site that prides itself on a strong safety culture.
