Be part of a dynamic community-focused team Have the opportunity to put your own stamp on this role Located on the Sunshine Coast This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to contribute to the management team by providing expert strategic and operational advice to ensure the effective management of the Operations Centre. This is an interesting and varied role operating in a dynamic organisation. The QAS is accountable for the delivery of pre-hospital ambulance response services, emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital patient care and transport services, inter-facility ambulance transport, casualty room services, and planning and coordination of multi-casualty incidents and disasters. As part of the Operations Centre management team, you will work across a wide range of functions coordinating and supporting the Centre's operations including implementing plans, policies, procedures, communication strategies, and business improvement initiatives; workforce planning management and roster formulation overview; and project management to achieve high-quality standards and performance. You will apply your exceptionally strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Queensland Health, emergency service organisations, community committees, and consultancies. Through active leadership, mentoring, and coaching activities, you will provide leadership to staff for their personal and professional development.
