What you will do as the Senior Participant Engagement Officer Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, foster collaboration and information sharing to support effective communication practices. Plan and facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather insights, feedback, and provide advice on the CDR on-boarding process. Provide accurate, timely and complex advice to internal staff and stakeholders on participant engagement functions and activities. Assist participants through the on-boarding process and related activities to meet legislative obligations, monitoring and working collaboratively to address any blockers to progress. Manage own workload and priorities to effectively handle peak periods to ensure quality and efficiency targets are maintained. Maintain and analyse internal data records. Prepare management reports, presentations, and documentation including material for consideration by Commissioners and the Executive, with an excellent eye for detail. Motivate self and work collaboratively, recognising and respecting the work preferences and different views of others. Provide leadership and supervise APS5 team members, including planning, coordinating workload and capability uplift. About You In order to succeed in the role, you will have: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport, effectively engage with and manage stakeholders, and facilitate constructive dialogue with diverse stakeholders. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement. The ability to manage time pressures and deliver outcomes in an evolving policy environment. Self-motivation, an ability to work as a cooperative team-player with integrity, drive and resilience. The ability to coach, manage and mentor staff in the context of competing priorities and strategic directions. Experience in using customer relationship management software, and collaboration platforms and tools such as Confluence, or similar, would be advantageous. An understanding of and an ability to apply the ACCC’s role, functions and objectives of competition and consumer policy, including in relation to the Consumer Data Right.
