In this role, you will provide a comprehensive, high-level range of clinical trial pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgement in delivering expert medicines information and therapeutic advice. Your guidance and support will be essential to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring safe and effective medication use in line with hospital and divisional policies. You will play a crucial role in optimising patient outcomes by implementing strategies that promote the quality use of medicines in a safe, cost-effective, and evidence-based manner. With a strong commitment to professional standards and guidelines, you will contribute to enhancing patient care while supporting the hospital’s mission to deliver excellence in pharmacy services. About You We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering exceptional hospital pharmacy services. To thrive in this role, you will bring: Expert Knowledge & Experience – Extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with proven leadership, supervisory, or management expertise. Strong understanding of relevant codes of practice and professional standards. Communication & Collaboration – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients, medical staff, and multidisciplinary teams. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills – Ability to research, interpret data, and develop strategies to enhance service delivery while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Leadership & Training – Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and educate both professional and non-professional staff, driving continuous improvement in service outcomes. Postgraduate qualifications, professional accreditation, and membership in a relevant pharmacy body are highly desirable.
