Role details The Physiotherapy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Physiotherapist (Geriatric Evaluation Management/Rehabilitation - Hospital in the Home) to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity To deliver high level comprehensive physiotherapy therapy clinical skills and leadership to provide effective and efficient treatment across Hospital in the Home (HITH), Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) HITH and Geriatric Evaluation Management Rehabilitation (GEMR) HITH service, to client groups within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service, as determined through the Health Service Plan and priorities. About The Team Our Physiotherapy Service delivers care to patients, both adults and children, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Physiotherapists aim to restore a person's function, maximising their mobility and health and minimising their dysfunction. Treatment is tailored to each individual and is based on the patient's needs. About Our Hospital And Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
