Job Description

Senior Planner/Project Planner (Western Power Clean Energy) Genus Infrastructure are seeking a Senior Planner and Project Planner for an upcoming major project in WA. 07th March, 2025 The Business Genus Infrastructure Pty Ltd (GNI) are specialists in delivering end to end innovative solutions in multiple sectors across Australia. Specialising in Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Communications & Renewable Energy; as a subsidiary of the GenusPlus Group (ASX: GNP). The Position Genus Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Senior Planner and Project Planner for our upcoming major projects in WA. The Planner’s purpose is to assist in the development of detailed schedules for Major Projects to achieve employee’s appointed Entity/Team Project goals. Reporting directly to the Team Lead - Planning, the Senior Planner and Project Planner will be responsible for: Develop and manage project schedules, including creating and updating project timelines, milestones and deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication. Monitor project progress, identify variances and develop corrective actions to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations. Provide planning support to project teams, including developing and managing project schedules, resource allocation plans and budget plans. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 5+ years experience in construction planning or similar field. Construction Safety Induction (‘White Card’). Current Drivers Licence - 'C' Class. National Police Clearance. Full Australian Working Rights. Demonstrated experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project software or similar tools. Demonstrated experience in implementation of planning, audit, review processes, and risk assessment and management methodologies. Experience working on Major Projects (Project value more than 20 million AUD). Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Strong understanding of construction practices, methods and industry regulations.
