Senior Project Manager - Distributed Energy Reform We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical initiatives in distributed energy reform technology. This role will focus on driving the successful implementation of complex system changes, particularly within the Australian energy sector. You will collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams to finalize system and architecture designs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. WHAT’S ON OFFER $1100 a day Inclusive of superannuation + GST Exposure to working alongside one of Australia’s largest energy providers. 6-month rolling contract. THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of Australia's energy landscape, with a focus on improving data management, automation, and visibility. Responsibilities: Lead the development of an overall roadmap and implementation plan for Distributed Energy Resources (DER) operations, aligning with broader organizational objectives. Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to finalize system and architecture designs. Manage the delivery of complex change initiatives, including refactoring data for energy systems in Australia. Improve data sources and develop automated systems for enhanced visibility of energy distribution behaviors and disturbances. Oversee system integration projects, particularly within operational technology (OT) environments. Ensure successful integration of systems related to five-minute settlements, metering, billing, and energy distribution in Australia. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and system performance. Manage stakeholder communication and ensure alignment across all project phases. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, particularly in the energy sector. Demonstrated experience working with architecture and engineering teams to finalize system and architecture designs. Extensive experience delivering complex change to critical systems, including data refactoring. Strong understanding of systems integration, ideally within an operational technology (OT) environment. In-depth knowledge of the Australian energy market, including five-minute settlements, metering, billing, and energy distribution. Experience developing and implementing roadmaps and implementation plans for DER operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
