Join our team and take the lead in delivering high-quality town planning services. You’ll tackle complex development applications, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and provide expert recommendations while ensuring compliance with planning legislation. Bring your problem-solving skills to the table as you advise stakeholders, assist with Planning and Environment Court appeals, and stay ahead of emerging trends in land use and development. About you: Guided by our values, we would love to hear from you or someone you know who has significant experience applying town planning principles and practices, with a strong understanding of Queensland’s legislative environment. The ideal candidate will excel in leading and coordinating complex land use development applications, demonstrating effective teamwork and problem-solving skills. They will have well-developed written and verbal communication abilities, capable of preparing detailed reports and providing excellent customer service, even in sensitive situations. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential, along with a proven ability to meet deadlines. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is a must. You’ll possess relevant tertiary qualifications in town planning or a Diploma in Local Government (Planning) and have relevant professional experience.
