Hilton Foods Bunbury, a leading food processing company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Production Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production operations and leading a team of dedicated individuals in delivering high-quality products to our customers. The Production Team Leader will lead the employees that are directly involved in the production process to ensure all products manufactured are to customer standards and play an integral role in building the team culture. Roster: Day shift Monday - Friday 5.30am start times, adhoc Saturday shifts if required. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise employees directly involved in the production process, ensuring all products meet customer standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the production team, whilst promoting a positive work environment. Adhere to business standards and understand budget, forecast, and benefits drivers. Provide input and support the implementation of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) initiatives and improved work practices. Communicate clear directions to team members, ensuring they understand tasks, procedures, and processes to meet production targets. Train and mentor employees on production procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans to enhance team performance and individual growth. Demonstrate understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Requirements: Extensive experience in FMCG/Food Manufacturing Operations at the supervisor level. Familiarity with SHE issues and quality principles. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proactive and outcome-focused, with a hands-on approach. Excellent leadership skills, including effective communication and active listening. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Why Hilton Foods?
