Senior Professional Indemnity Broker (BH-33137-1) Location: Melbourne, AustraliaSector: InsuranceSalary: $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 per annum Who will you be working with? Our client is a dynamic, technology-focused insurance brokerage startup who has experienced exceptional growth in their first few months of operating. With a strong, diverse management team bringing over 70 years of industry experience, they are poised for rapid growth and are seeking a highly technical broker to build their Professional Lines division.This role requires a motivated senior broker who can be the face of the division, present confidently to clients, and build a profitable portfolio. With extensive existing market relationships, there is a warm pipeline of mid-market to corporate businesses to leverage off.This is an exciting position that will suit someone who is wanting to take more of a strategic role and will grow to what the individual makes of it. Establish and grow a financial lines portfolio through leveraging off a warm pipeline, networking, and attending industry events. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business operations, and providing tailored insurance solutions for professional risks. Lead negotiations on policy terms, conditions, and pricing to secure optimal coverage at competitive rates. Deliver presentations to clients, demonstrating expertise in professional indemnity and financial lines. Mentor junior professionals in the business, with the ability to grow out a team as the book grows. What do you need? 10-15 years of experience in broking, particularly within professional lines Strong knowledge of professional lines products including PI, D&O, ML, and cyber Tier 1 Insurance Broking or Diploma Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and relationship management Ability to work independently and as part of a team This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career and be able to make a real impact on shaping the strategic direction of the division.
