Senior Program Management Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Program Management Officer to join the Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering. The Senior Program Management Officer is responsible for providing high-level administration support for Faculty of Engineering external professional accreditation requirements, including preparation of data and accreditation reports along with event management for professional visits. The position provides high-level support in managing student administration and student governance-related policy and procedure. This position plays an active role in the interpretation and application of university policy and case management of complex cases. The position is responsible for key student engagement and orientation activities for the Faculty, and communication to students via the Faculty Canvas Community sites. What you need to succeed Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience. Proven ability to identify, interpret, apply and analyse policies, procedures, statistics and other data to achieve workable solutions to meet the needs of clients. Proven initiative and capacity to resolve complex issues with minimal guidance and instruction, including ability to proactively contribute and collaborate within a demanding and high-paced team environment. Effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to communicate and build effective relationships with a wide range of people including students, academic and professional staff, with the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Excellent written and oral communication (including digital literacy) skills with demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely, including in formal settings and edit a diverse range of high-quality materials.
