Job Summary A Senior Program/CAPEX Leader (18 Months Contract) is responsible for driving the site physical transformation agenda, managing the site capital program and delivering capital expenditure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Role Responsibilities: Responsible for the North Rocks capital planning process, developing the annual capital plan, and aligning with key stakeholders across the business. Establish and manage a monthly governance process to review capital project status/risks and overall progress against capital budgets for the year. Manage project resource needs to deliver the capital program. Develop 3-5 year capital investment roadmap and ensure project pipelines aligned with site vision, master plan and asset care program. Manage the fixed asset management process and asset register. Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Contractor Management: Supervise and manage contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Prepare and manage project budgets. Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation. What You Will Need to Succeed Experiences & Qualifications Mandatory: Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). Experience: 15+ years of experience in Engineering and Capital Management, project management and a solid understanding of TPM/Lean/Operational Excellence principles, early equipment management, reliability engineering and operational startup management. Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in project management software, and a solid understanding of engineering principles. Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is often preferred. Significant experience in an FMCG environment. A track record in end-to-end management and successful delivery of significant capital programs/projects. Strong interpersonal skills to interface with other operational business units. Exceptional Analytical / problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Superior time management and organisational skills.
