Pivot Engineers is an engineering consultancy based in Melbourne, having significantly grown our portfolio of projects and clients over the past few years, supporting many Major Infrastructure Projects, Private Mining Clients, and Subcontractors. Role Description This is a contract FIFO role (14/9 roster) located in Orange, NSW for a Senior Project Engineer | Civils | FIFO. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for communication, project management, project engineering, project planning, and coordination, reporting directly to the construction services lead. Managed scope will include tailings dam maintenance & expansion, haul road construction, and bulk earthworks activities. Very competitive day rate All flights, car rental & accommodation paid for Paid flight time on working days (fly-in day 1, fly-out day 14) Accommodation in furnished apartments (not outdated dongas) Residence in a quiet country town (not on site). Qualifications Communication and Project Management skills Project Engineering and Project Planning skills Experience in mine site civil engineering projects Ability to work independently and in a team Strong problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 10+ years industry experience (mining preferable) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
