Senior Project Manager & Business Analyst Job Description: On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who will lead the implementation of a legal document management system for the Compliance branch of the Legal Affairs department. This is estimated to be a 5-6 month project working with an external system integrator and the organization's staff. The role will act as the Project Manager coordinating internal teams and preparing regular status reporting. They will also act as the lead Business Analyst preparing project deliverables, guiding workshops, and advocating for the requirements of the Compliance team. This role may be expanded to include additional department projects.Primary Responsibilities Manage one or more projects from inception to delivery Coordinate activities and manage dependencies across multiple technical workstreams. Develop and lead the development of project deliverables. Work with external vendors and system integrators to ensure that the solution design aligns with BCI's requirements and technical standards. Qualifications Must have: 5+ years of experience working in a BA/PM capacity Excellent BA skills Has played a senior role on strategic projects Experience identifying assumptions, constraints, and estimating effort for corporate projects at the concept/pre-initiation stage Significant experience as a Business Analyst: Working with diverse stakeholder groups from business to technical Proven ability to build consensus among differing perspectives Demonstrated ability to document complex business/system requirements with clarity Strong communication and analytical skills Able to lead and conduct integration and user acceptance testing Experience with system integration and application architecture Experience as a Project Manager: Proven ability to drive projects to completion under tight timelines Able to manage a medium size project with diverse stakeholders Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks Able to provide project status reports on a timely basis to project leaders Experience with agile project delivery is an asset Preferred: Experience delivering technology solutions to law firms or legal departments within financial services Understanding of compliance and legal services workflows, products and their lifecycle Experience with agile project delivery is an asset Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Flexible and client-service oriented Ability to balance multiple priorities Comfort with a fast-paced environment About Affinity: Affinity Group is a technology and business consulting and services company.
