The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in driving Release Trains towards achieving key business outcomes. This role is part of the Origination & Servicing team within the Cash & Transactional Banking Domain and requires a strong Agile mindset, leadership skills, and a focus on delivering customer value. Your key responsibilities include: Serve as a role model for servant leadership, fostering a high-performing Agile culture. Guide the train and squads through Agile cadences to improve delivery predictability. Partner with the Delivery Train and Senior Product Owner to drive outcomes using Agile methodologies. Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner to ensure customer needs are met and customer value is maximized. Oversee estimations and sprint planning based on backlog prioritization. Work with the Lead Product Owner to proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and conflicting priorities. Support the train and squads in identifying alternative approaches to maximize delivery value. Remove blockers that hinder the trains and squads’ progress. Engage with external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. Provide regular progress updates on feature delivery. Ensure compliance with Group governance, methodologies, and processes, maintaining robust governance. Drive continuous improvement, increasing team performance, predictability, and value delivery. Maintain best practice standards, ensuring adherence to policies, controls, and quality standards. Align deliveries with squad and train roadmaps for timely execution. Contribute to PI Planning, including readiness, Pre-PI, and Post-PI events. What do I need? 10+ years of experience in project and technology solution delivery, with 4+ years in a management role. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent squads and their deliverables. Strong background in driving continuous improvement through Agile tools and processes. Experience in PI Planning and Agile delivery models. Expertise in establishing operating rhythms and project management discipline aligned with Agile principles. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Experience building and scaling squads in an Agile environment. Ability to define and measure success using OKRs, KPIs, and other performance metrics. Previous Banking domain experience is a plus. Experience with micro services and/or User experience initiatives will be considered desirable. Passionate about DevOps, taking ownership of what we build. What’s it like to work there?
