In this role, you'll: Join the TfNSW Infrastructure Division, working on the Western Harbour Tunnel Project, where you will start with a 4-Year Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to extend. Provide technical advice and management of M&E, ITS and OMCS designs and construction, to safely deliver cost-effective tunnel infrastructure that is safe to operate and maintain and of high quality to ensure life cycle costs are minimised. Provide management and leadership throughout the procurement and delivery phase of the project, supervising contractors to ensure that design and construction is delivered on time and to specification. Review designs for TfNSW, ensuring management of technical risk in design and in the delivery of effective and cost-efficient transport infrastructure projects by providing design and engineering advice. Surveillance of construction and witnessing of test and commissioning activities ensuring safety, quality and life cycle objectives are met. Lead and deliver high-level project support to ensure the efficient functioning of the senior executive management and their respective Division, managing all cross-functional issues with internal and external stakeholders affecting the group such as safety, financial, project processes, reporting, strategic planning and organisational improvement. This is a 4-Year Fixed-Term Contract opportunity until 31/12/2028, with the potential to extend. The remuneration is within the TSSM band ($188k to $201k inclusive of super). You are a tertiary qualified with experience in M&E and OT/ITS engineering, systems engineering and project management in large infrastructure projects. Transport tunnels projects experience preferred.Experienced in technical and commercial management and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Control systems (ITS system preferred) for complex multi-disciplinary projects and preferably road tunnel projects.Sound knowledge of systems engineering processes and application to the design, construction and operation of complex infrastructure.Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in tunnel construction, and demonstrated experience in the effective implementation of Quality Assurance systems, WH&S, risk and environmental management.High level communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully, effectively and resolve issues with people / other parties at all levels and demonstrated capability to develop flexible and workable solutions to meet customer expectations.Ability to develop and maintain positive and collaborative client relationships and ensure the delivery of a consistent, efficient and high-quality service.
