The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Project Officer (Communications and Strategy) to provide a critical role at the Adult Parole Board. About the Role The Senior Project Officer (Communications and Strategy) is a member of the Secretariat and reports to the Secretariat's Chief Administrative Officer. Some of your duties will include: Proactively identify emerging opportunities and issues that may impact the Board's reputation and provide strategic advice on communications. Developing and implementing communication projects to support the Secretariat's strategic business plan. Managing a high volume of email and hard copy correspondence to and from the Board. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Excellent writing skills with great attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in providing high quality information and advice to senior staff on complex communication issues. Experience in writing and proofing material for print and digital media. Experience developing and implementing communication projects. Experience in building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders. Qualifications/requirements A tertiary qualification in communications and/or extensive experience working in a similar role is essential.
