Job details Position status: Fixed Term Temporary Position type: Full-time Occupational group: Project Management Classification: AO6 Workplace Location: (Location) Job ad reference: QLD/CO618309/25T Closing date: 18-Feb-2025 Yearly salary: $117538 - $125531 Fortnightly salary: $4505.20 - $4811.60 Job duration: ASAP to 30 June 2025, unless otherwise determined An exciting opportunity exists to join the Digital and Virtual Learning team as a Senior Project Officer supporting the development of on-demand video resources and the design of visual content. The Senior Project Officer will join a Production team and work with key curriculum experts, school staff, video production personnel and quality assurance staff across a number of teams within Digital and Virtual Learning to create learning episodes and teaching resources in a range of formats to support teaching and learning in multiple curriculum areas. What you need to succeed: We are seeking a highly creative person with proven skills and knowledge in video content production, visual content creation, and the delivery of high profile or dynamic virtual learning projects. Successful candidates will have experience in video production and production management or the capability to acquire skills and knowledge in these areas. The Senior Project Officer will: participate in a project team to develop instructional video content related to implementation of Australian Curriculum learning areas; develop communications materials, assets and messaging; contribute to briefing materials, submissions, papers, reports and correspondence; build positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; and undertake other duties as required to enable unit objectives to be achieved. Specifically, the ideal applicant will need to demonstrate a capability to support the resource production process and general design needs, including: knowledge of video production including technical knowledge of the pre-to-post production cycle; an interest in working with talent and curriculum writers to develop engaging instructional video content ; ability to develop written submissions, internal and external messaging, briefing notes, correspondence and other materials on current and emerging issues in support of departmental staff and senior executives; high-level written, spoken and digital communication skills; and passion for organisation and attention to detail. Highly desirable skills include: experience working on complex projects to achieve required outcomes within set timeframes and on budget; knowledge of motion design and art direction including practical experience across the design pipeline; ability to provide design guidance , concepts, and industry insights to the production team and stakeholders while maintaining and developing workflows and file management processes that support collaborative asset use.
