Senior Project and Policy Officer (530075) Department of HealthHealth ICTOCCIO - Clin Infrmtcs & Dig Hlth Innvtn Applications must be submitted by Sunday 23 February, 2025 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 6 Employment type: Full Time Region: South Location: Located within the newly created office of the Chief Clinical Information Officer, the Clinical Informatics & Digital Health Innovation team (CIDHI) champions digital health adoption and innovation across the Department. Supporting user engagement, design and use of digital health solutions, digital workflow design and transformation, digital capability development, use of consistent and universal language for healthcare information and alignment with the national digital health work program. The Role: The Senior Policy and Project Officer is expected to contribute to, and support the delivery of, CI&DHI priorities through: Planning, coordinating and delivering approved projects or strategic initiatives. Researching and conducting detailed analysis on issues relating to contemporary digital information management, use and sharing. Preparing high-level written communications for a variety of audiences, including development of briefings, policies and providing general authoritative and specialised advice. Consulting across CI&DHI work streams to drive unified and consistent communication, education, and awareness to target audiences. You will need to: Prepare and/or undertake high-level briefings, advice, analysis, reports, plans, business documentation, submissions and correspondence for a diverse audience including executive, senior management, clients, and other stakeholders. Manage project planning and delivery, including preparation of project documentation, business requirements, engagement planning and delivery, risk and issues analysis and review of project outcomes/outputs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, policy, and procedures. Proactively seek, develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure CI&DHI engagement and communications strategies are appropriately tailored to the needs of target audiences. Position Features: From time to time, the role may require: Some duties to be undertaken outside normal working hours. Travel between sites to be undertaken. Intra and/or Interstate travel. Details of appointment: Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 December 2026. Salary range: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
