Why work for us: Work with an iconic Australian company & market leader Subsidised canteen & free on-site parking at our Rydalmere office Great team environment Discounts on our products for you, your friends, and family Retail benefits and discounts The role: We are seeking a Senior Purchasing and Planning Officer to manage material supply within the limits of price, inventory levels, quality, and availability to meet the production requirements of both domestic and export heaters at our Rydalmere manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities: Purchasing: Select and develop vendors that meet quality standards, identify potential cost savings, and ensure reliable delivery by implementing JIT and Kanban principles. Planning: Ensure that the factory produces the required stock to achieve a balanced mix of all models. SAP Super User: Lead SAP MRP system purchasing and planning integration. Project Management: Oversee purchasing aspects of new product development projects and manage engineering change processes. You will report to the Purchasing and Materials Manager and have two direct reports. This role is based in Rydalmere within the Operations department. About you: To be successful in this role you will have: Ability to demonstrate good project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience in a Purchasing / Planning position within a manufacturing environment Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Knowledge of full Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel SAP or equivalent ERP experience essential Tertiary qualification or APICS Diploma in Purchasing / Logistics #J-18808-Ljbffr
