Senior Python Engineer with AWS

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python and AWS for our client, one of the largest providers of mutual funds and the second-largest provider of exchange-traded funds in the world. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days of work per week from our office in Gdansk or Krakow. Responsibilities Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge. Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes. Requirements 3+ years of experience with Python. Focus on details, be critical of accuracy, and be passionate about computer programming. Ability to work autonomously. Experience working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of investment management is preferable. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related discipline. Proficiency in an object-oriented or functional programming paradigm, such as Java or Python. Experience in the Investment Management Industry is preferable, but not a prerequisite. Nice to have Familiarity with NumPy and Pandas. Competency in Python OOP principles. Experience with React JS. We offer We gather like-minded people: Engineering community of industry professionals.
