Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to work within Digital Metro North (DMN) Support Services to coordinate the successful acquisition, deployment and retention of human resources, and management of human resourcing functions for Digital Metro North (DMN). This begins with understanding the resourcing requirements; responsibility of DMN Vacancy Management committee; providing Line Manager support to continue through the resourcing journey - from Request to Hires, springboard support, interviews, candidate onboarding (including Access Manager), myHR support plus everything in between and beyond. There is also the opportunity to be involved in the procurement process for external contractors under current Service offer arrangements. Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver. About the Role Reporting to the Business Manager, DMN Support Services, you will coordinate the successful acquisition, deployment and retention of human resources, and management of human resourcing functions for Digital Metro North (DMN). The ideal candidate would have a demonstrated ability to provide advice on contemporary human resource management practices and issues particularly recruitment, selection and workforce planning. They would also have proven experience in the coordination of recruitment campaigns and workforce planning within a defined strategic human resource approach. Key knowledge and experience The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following: Provide high level advice and implement practices to ensure the successful acquisition, deployment and retention of resources across DMN. Coordinate recruitment campaigns for DMN including research and reporting on labour market conditions. Coordinate the drafting and approval of role descriptions and specifications and support the development of selection and evaluation criteria. Coordinate the delivery of operational support throughout the employee lifecycle across DMN. Coordinate resourcing requirements for Digital Portfolio Services projects including sourcing equipment and performing relevant administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with resource recruitment policies and processes including procurement. Support workforce planning and reporting activities across DMN ensuring that there are skilled resources to meet planned service delivery.
