The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Reward & Benefits Manager to join our national Human Resources team, based in Sydney or Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Reward & Benefits (London) and working collaboratively with global colleagues, you will lead in delivering the regional remuneration and benefits strategy for HSF Australia. In this role, you will: Lead the Reward and Benefits function for the Australian region, providing thought leadership and strategic advice. Collaborate closely with HR leadership to create and implement reward and benefits initiatives. Manage the full annual compensation cycle, including market analysis, salary budget proposals, and deliver compensation processes on Workday. Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local laws. Develop and harmonise compensation and benefits policies, balancing global consistency with local requirements. Work with HR Managers to develop strategies to educate employees on their compensation and benefits packages. Oversee all employee and Partner benefits, manage relationships with providers, and ensure compliance with legislative changes. Line management of a Reward Specialist, acting as the first escalation point for queries, as well as providing opportunities for their development and to build the capability of the reward function. Build strong relationships with Business Finance and other key stakeholder groups. To be considered for this role, you must have: Unrestricted working rights in Australia. Tertiary qualifications in HR, Commerce, or a related discipline. Significant experience in a similar remuneration and benefits role. Advanced capability in Excel and a working knowledge of PowerPoint. To excel in this role, you will have: Technical knowledge of compensation and benefits structures in the legal sector (highly desired). Strong understanding of compensation principles, best practice and market norms. Experience working with HR information systems, preferably Workday. Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop others. Strong data interpretation and manipulation skills. A client-focused approach, with strong interpersonal skills.
