Job Description Our Poitrel Mine in the Bowen Basin is seeking a Senior Safety Systems Advisor who is committed to making a difference. This is a multi-faceted role that will see you work in a small professional team. As a key leader, you will: Review and develop key elements of the site’s Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures) Prepare and facilitate significant risk assessments Review and map regulatory requirements Participate in and lead significant incident investigations Prepare safety reports and analyze metrics Qualifications About You Strong analytical and conceptual skills Excellent writing skills Extensive experience in preparing and facilitating SHMS document reviews and supporting risk assessments Working knowledge of the Queensland coal mining legislation’s requirements with regard to SHMSs Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills Qualifications in Safety Risk Management at Certificate IV or higher are essential Additional Information Our Benefits (include): Monday to Friday (day shift) Camp accommodation or local housing allowance Local or DIDO role preferred FIFO may be available for the right candidate Competitive remuneration package Development program to support you in your career growth Supportive team with a strong focus on continuous improvement Start enjoying your career again in a team of industry-respected professionals who value people - first and foremost. #J-18808-Ljbffr
