THE OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to provide Level 2 support to clients and staff to ensure all services are delivered and completed within our agreed KPIs and SLAs. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to adhere to SLAs, prioritise work and follow documented processes. You should be an effective problem-solver, process-oriented, and capable of making timely decisions or escalating issues when necessary, even in high-pressure situations. Candidates having experience working in an MSP environment will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Manage the incoming flow of work by prioritising and managing your ticket queue. Provide frontline support with a focus on First Contact Resolution. Own tickets through to resolution and escalate to other teams or vendors when required. Provide accurate and timely advice to clients seeking technical information/recommendations ensuring satisfactory resolution of tickets. Skills & Qualifications: Windows 10/11 desktop support End user device troubleshooting mobile devices, laptop/desktop hardware, peripherals, etc. Experience working in a security-conscious environment, using security tools such as SentinelOne, Proofpoint, CrowdStrike, etc. Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online exposure File Share, One Drive, SharePoint, Entra/AD user administration, etc. Experience supporting the Office 365 suite Remote working tools such as RDS, AVD, Citrix, VPNs, etc. Printers – Configuration and troubleshooting Understanding of networking technology such as routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, internet connectivity, etc. Desired Skills: Experience with Windows Server, Azure, virtualisation and backup environments Experience supporting UC tools such as Teams Calling, 3CX, 8x8, etc. Experience troubleshooting Apple devices BENEFITS: 12 weeks full pay parental leave.
