Senior Supply Planner - Alexandria Location A Culture of Innovation, Collaboration and Execution Our Client, a well-established apparel company located in Alexandria, is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join their fast-paced, high-performing team. The Role As a Senior Supply Planner, you will lead and mentor a small hub of junior supply planners in a complex apparel business dealing with high numbers of SKUs. It is preferred that you have high volume Apparel, Pharmaceutical, or Grocery experience, are a confident communicator, experienced in working with internal and external stakeholders, and understand International Supply Chain documentation. You should have a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize your workload. Duties Manage the buy and create PO’s for the brands. Create PO’s to meet requirements and lead times. Liaise with vendors and planning team on the status of orders. Work with Freight Forwarders, ensuring all PO’s are in their system & investigate and solve discrepancies. Monitor inbound shipments with freight forwarder and suppliers. Look for consolidation opportunities – vessel capacity and schedules. Ensure pricing, duty, commissions, and royalties are correct on all PO’s shipped. Monitor and review shipping conditions. Communicate regularly with planning team on any delays. Coordinate with Warehouse and 3rd parties to schedule inbound deliveries. Ensure delivery is received according to the agreed schedule. Check pricing issues, raise credits prior to customs clearance. Track sales samples and promo materials – goods receipt and billing. Run reports in SAP to identify issues and resolve. Skills & Experience Knowledge of SAP is essential. Experience with Apparel / Pharmaceutical / Grocery. Must have worked with a high number of SKUs (1000’s). Understanding of International trade and logistics practices - documentation, Free Trade Agreements, and Certificate of Origin. Experience in Purchase Order creation to factory pick up to container/international hub to vessel to forwarder to warehouse. Customer-focused with sound problem-solving and time management skills. Adaptable and willing to learn with high attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills – Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc. Fun team environment – working with amazing brands. Attractive salary on offer. Full-time hours: 37.5 per week - Monday to Friday Alexandria Location – close to the Train Station (Green Square) & onsite parking available! Some flexibility to work from home once trained.
