Job Description About this opportunity Our Large Format, Industrial packaging business specialises in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic and metal packaging servicing for the consumer and industrial sectors. As Senior Supply and Inventory Planner in our Steel Division, you will manage the production planning and inventory controls at Truganina and other sites to optimize division profitability. This is to be achieved by managing and improving the planning processes and managing inventory controls/policies through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will be to: Manage inventory levels through production planning, inter-plant and external purchasing to optimize service levels, capacity utilization and inventory. Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle-counts, stocktakes and maintaining BOMS for manufacturing and subcontractors. Review the planning process, identify and drive improvements. Create product specifications, new material plans and BOMS. Communicate with customer service to improve service levels for the customers and to respond to customer queries. Collaborate with other business areas as required. Develop, implement and manage business projects. Provide mentoring and support to internal employees. Comply with all PACT Group safety requirements and promote a safe environment within the organization. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Senior Supply Chain experience. Experience in purchasing, planning, stock control and warehousing. Experience in working with suppliers, subcontractors and a sound understanding of importing. Advanced level of SAP knowledge, including maintaining master data, setting MRP relevant parameters and forecasting. Advanced inventory analysis and management capability. Understanding of manufacturing processes and demand planning. High level of analytical and numeracy skill. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Advanced in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Analytical ability with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Graphs etc).
