Join us in playing a special role in the future of aged care. About the role Estia Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the availability, administration, support, and continual improvement of our critical Customer and Employee Systems, including Clinical Management, Recruitment, Payroll, and more. As our Senior Systems Analyst, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving efficiency, enhancing user experience, and integrating new technologies in our evolving digital landscape. Key responsibilities include: System Support & Incident Management : Support and maintain applications by investigating incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with vendors to resolve issues. Ensure clear documentation of known issues and workarounds. System Upgrades & Patches : Manage system upgrades and patches, working closely with vendors and internal teams to assess business impacts and ensure smooth transitions through the Change Management process. Security & Compliance : Lead user access reviews, ensuring applications comply with security and audit requirements. Implement necessary controls and mitigations to address identified security risks. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery : Proactively plan for business continuity and disaster recovery, participating in regular testing and ensuring applications are resilient and well-documented. Collaboration & Process Improvement : Work with key business stakeholders across Clinical, People & Culture, Payroll, Workforce Planning, and Technology teams to identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements through automation, system integration, and workflow optimisation. Innovation & Continuous Learning : Stay updated on vendor roadmaps, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and suggest enhancements that add value to the organisation. About you You’ll bring to the role your energy, your passionate and caring nature and you will have: Proven Problem-Solving Expertise: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives, drive continuous improvement, and meet key business goals. Quick to Adapt: Ability to swiftly learn and understand application architecture, including its design, functionality, and security features. Experience in Solution Support: 7+ years of experience in managing Level 2 support for third-party, internally hosted, and cloud-based solutions, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Clinical, HR, Time & Attendance, or Health & Safety (H&S) solutions. Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. SQL Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced experience with Transact-SQL (T-SQL), with a solid understanding of working with SQL database products. Data Analysis Expertise: Strong data analysis capabilities, with proficiency in Excel and Power BI to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights and detailed reports. Security & Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of user access control, application audit review processes, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards. Integration and Automation Expertise: Experience with integration platforms and application integration, particularly with Microsoft Logic Apps. Familiarity with automation tools, especially UIPath, is also valued. Industry Experience: Previous experience in the aged/health care industry is a plus, though not required.
