The Role: As the Senior Technical Solutions Analyst your core responsibility day to day will be to provide analytical support & coordination to the NPP real-time payments platform. This role will see you collaborate with the NPP Technology Delivery team as well as key cross functional stakeholders to support the ongoing capability development & strategic initiatives & ensure the smooth operational functioning of the infrastructure. Proposed Role Responsibilities are: Assist in the technical assessment and development of solutions for NPP Change Requests and Projects. Analyse impacts to NPP Componentry, NPP Central Components, and other infrastructure to assess, design, and determine implementation/migration approaches. Lead comprehensive analysis for all NPP technical solutions and supporting documentation, ensuring its continuous upkeep. Understand high-level business and payment message flows, creating use cases, and providing technical input for message usage guidelines. Coordinate cross-team solutioning and analysis for change requests, projects, and process improvement tasks, collaborating with internal AP+ teams, vendors, and other stakeholders. Offer operational input and support for NPP compliance-related matters. Write, design, and provide documentation to support operational processes and feasibility for participants or internal stakeholders (as needed). Provide support for operational readiness requirements related to key strategic initiatives. Evaluate change requests, proposals, and capability requests for feasibility, offering recommendations to relevant committees. Review testing and certification requirements to support the NPP Testing team, guiding them in preparing test documents for NPP releases. Proposed Position Requirements are: 4+ years Technical Analysis experience preferably in a payments environment. Strong data/numeracy skills required to support the data analysis and reporting aspects of the role. Detailed understanding of any of the following would be highly regarded: high availability and resilient solutions, cloud native solutions, data warehouse systems, event streaming system (e.g. Kafka), high-throughput systems, volumetric analysis and modelling. Ability to confidently deal with ambiguity. Ability to effectively document meeting outcomes and capture actions. Ability to effectively document user and technical requirements. NPP knowledge at systems or operational level. Experience in ISO20022. Deep experience in Infrastructure and project delivery, including infrastructure projects or application migration.
