Senior Tuckshop Services Officer - Sacred Heart School, SANDGATE Commencing March 2025 Part Time | 10hrs Per week | Continuing Position tenure: Part Time Weeks worked: School Term Weeks Only Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 10 hours | Two Days a week Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement Sacred Heart Primary School, nestled in the heart of Sandgate, is a coeducational school for students in Prep to Year 6. We are seeking an experienced person to manage the day-to-day operation of the school tuckshop including opening and set-up of the tuckshop, preparation of food and food orders. You will: Support special event days and catering requests for school functions which includes setting up and packing away. Prepare menus which actively support health food programs. Ensure food is prepared and stored in accordance with correct food handling and hygiene procedures and guidelines and assist with managing goods and supplies including the rotation of stock. Maintain adequate stock levels to meet daily and weekly menu requirements including the ordering, receiving, storing, and inventory of stock. Coordinate the daily cleaning and clean-up of kitchen and storage areas to ensure high standards of food hygiene. Select and use appropriate techniques and cleaning agents for the cleaning of facilities and cooking utensils. Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Program, for example, recording temperatures. Supervise, coordinate, and support volunteers and staff in the tuckshop and storage area. To be eligible to be considered for this role you will: Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
